"Her Majesty's Revels" is an evening of Elizabethan entertainment, with five of the greatest scenes from Shakespeare's comedies being performed: Much Ado about Nothing, Twelfth Night, The Taming of the Shrew, The Merry Wives of Windsor, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Between the scenes we will have guest dancers performing ballet sequences by Jean-Baptiste Lully and music performed by our own period musicians on lute, mandola and flute. |
