    New date for anniversary meal added by myf

    The meal will now be on Wednesday September 24th. A venue has not yet been decided.

    Anniversary meal postponed added by myf

    Due to problems finding a nice local venue able to accommodate a sizeable number of people on the planned date for the meal, it will be postponed until September.

    An exact date has not yet been set, but will be announced as soon as possible.

    Wednesday 4th June - Carnival Preparation added by Angie

    Please come along to the Methodist Hall at 8.15 p.m. on 4th June for preparation for the carnival, if you have something to contribute to the Entertainment evening on 5th July and if you are interested in participating in the procession and/or helping on the stall. Please volunteer now as we have some exciting plans for Carnival Day. See you on Wednesday.

    Summer show added by myf

    Due to the repairs to the Parish Hall (scheduled for this summer), the later than usual Spring production, and our involvement in the Crowthorne Carnival, CATS will not be staging a production in Summer 2008.

    Therefore our next production will be the pantomime "Dick Turpin Rides Again!", by Richard Hills, which will be performed in the Parish Hall at the end of November.

    Tickets for A Tomb With A View are now available from Playhouse Cleaners on Dukes Ride and Becky's on the High Street. They can also be booked by emailing boxoffice@catswebsite.co.uk

    The annual general meeting will take place at the Parish Hall on Wednesday February 27th, starting at 8pm. All relevant information (including Oscars voting forms) will be sent to members in mid-February.

    Auditions for A Tomb with a View will take place on 9th January 2008 at 8pm in Crowthorne Parish Hall.

    Panto Success added by JT

    The pantomine "Frankenstein the Panto" was a great success, selling out completely over a week before opening night.
    Many Thanks to all involved and who came to see it.
    Our Next show is "A Tomb with a View", written my Norman Robbins. Details will appear on this site soon.

    Tickets for Frankenstein The Panto are now on sale, priced at £7.50 (concessions £6.00). They can be purchased from Playhouse Cleaners on Dukes Ride, and P&S News on the High Street.

    CATS Christmas Meal added by JT

    Due to its success last year, the CATS Christmas meal will be at the Prince Pub where we normally have drinks after rehearsal nights.
    It will be Wednesday 12th December at 8pm at a cost of £14.25 a head. There is a capacity of 32 people but I've negotiated with the landlord to fit a few extras in if required.
    Deposits of £5 must be received by me no later than Wednesday 17th October at the rehearsal to secure your place. Menus will be available at rehearsal nights or directly from the pub.
