Simon's greatest CATS achievement was probably meeting wife Jo, although his acting and directing credits are pretty impressive too.

Simon actually found us on the internet, came along to the auditions of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" and was immediately cast as King Boris. He has also performed in "The Ghost Train" as Richard Winthrop, where his onstage wife was also his future one! He has also been in "Habeas Corpus". He has donned a dress, wig and high heels with great gusto to play one of the ugly sisters in "Cinderellium". He then went on to play the slightly inept villain King Rat in "Dick Whittington". This wouldn't have been too bad if his wife Jo wasn't playing his arch enemy Fairy Fleur.

Simon then decided to tackle the slightly daunting prospect of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" with David Rhodes. Simon took the direction of the fairies, and quite appropriately, the Athenian Actors! With almost 30 people on stage at one time, the play worked out beautifully.
