Caroline is usually known as myf; partly because there is another Caroline and it would be confusing, and partly because she liked the name Myfanwy and myf is the shortened version of it! She only gets called Caroline when she is in trouble. This doesn't happen too often as when she is in charge, she gets to boss everyone around, although most people don't seem to listen to her! myf has stage managed at least 10 shows since joining in 1996 as a shy teenager (no, really!), and is usually involved with a production in some way (even if it's just taking photos). myf doesn't tread the boards - ever! Her favourite show was "Inspector Drake's Last Case", for no reason other than it's the one she remembers the most of.

myf has also directed several shows, including "Babysitting Calvin", the CATS entry for the 2001 Woking Drama Festival. Although this was not a raving success, it is the first play she actually chose to direct; everything else she tends to inherit. Her directing credits include "The London Vertigo", "Last Tango / Last Panto in Crowthorne", and "Dick Whittington". "Dick Whittington" was inherited after the dame pulled out and the original director took over! myf then acquired the full job of directing. Despite this, her worst play is "A Chorus of Disapproval" - she had to move furniture on stage whilst the lights were on and people could see her!

myf has joined us on two of the Cornwall trips, and has successfully retained her title of ‘Insulter of the Tour’. She was team captain for the CATS Whiskers, the quiz team, who won the 2002 Crowthorne Carnival Wine & Wisdom quiz. On top of all that, myf has been a member of the CATS committee for many years: first as Member without Portfolio, then as Secretary, then Chairman and now as Secretary again. She is also the CATS webmaster, having taken over the job from John Taylor.
