CATS Christmas Meal added by JT

Due to its success last year, the CATS Christmas meal will be at the Prince Pub where we normally have drinks after rehearsal nights.
It will be Wednesday 12th December at 8pm at a cost of £14.25 a head. There is a capacity of 32 people but I've negotiated with the landlord to fit a few extras in if required.
Deposits of £5 must be received by me no later than Wednesday 17th October at the rehearsal to secure your place. Menus will be available at rehearsal nights or directly from the pub.

Next show - Frankenstein the Panto added by myf

    Frankenstein the Panto
    by David Swan

Life at Pumpernickel's Taverna in Bavaria is generally quiet and peaceful - except, of course, for the shrill tones of Frau Pumpernickel screaming at the staff, or the groans of Herr Pumpernickel when he realises how much of his money his wife has just spent on a new hat! Then Prince Ludwig brings the terrible news that Dracula and his fearsome grandmother have moved to the neighbourhood and are feeling rather peckish.

Will Ludwig, Little Orphan Heidi and their friends be able to keep the vampires at bay? What is the Professor's secret formula for vampire vanquishing? And how can thin weedy little Frankie become a hero and prevent the whole of Bavaria being chomped by Granula's gruesome gnashers?

The performances will take place at Crowthorne Parish Hall on November 29th & 30th, and December 1st.

Need help with using the Yahoo group? added by myf

I've put together a help document to try to assist people in using the Yahoo! group. Hopefully it will help people solve some of their issues with the system, and enable them to make better use of the group.

It's been put together using information from the Yahoo! group help pages, so should be straightforward enough to follow. I've tried to make sure it covers the basics for emails, use of the Yahoo! groups website, files, links and the calendar that is available.

I hope eventually it can be hosted on this site, but for now you can obtain the file as a PDF from http://bes-t.co.uk/files/Yahoo%20group%20help_0.pdf

Murder Mystery Read Through added by JT

The read through of the excellent short play that Lynn Gosden has written for our new production for this year will be held at 8pm on Tuesday 22nd August @ Lynn’s house.

For those that have expressed an interest in getting involved, please confirm to me your ability to attend on that date. The play will, hopefully, be cast following the read through. So this is the last chance for anyone else to join in.

The production dates are Friday and Saturday 27th/ 28th October 2006, which is the last weekend of the school half term holiday. Actors will need to be able to stay in character and ad lib the 2nd act, when they will be interviewed and cross examined by the audience, so if you fancy expanding or challenging your acting skills then this could be the opportunity.

Rehearsals will be just once a week and will not conflict with any panto rehearsals, so the actual day each week may vary.

Any further questions, please contact either Michael or Lynn.
